KATHERYN JETHWA

Katie grew up in a small town in Iowa, where from a very young age, dreamed of having a career in design.

She is the founder and creative director of Kate Elizabeth, Brides and Interiors, a full-service event and interior design collective. She established her design firm in 2018, with a decade of extensive experience in producing and designing events and spaces.

Based in Minnesota, Katie excels in creating one-of-a-kind occasions, from weekend long destination weddings to intimate dinner parties, in addition to managing and designing interior based projects.  Her emphasis is on customizing experiences and spaces, along with building teams of talent, so that each event and space reflect her client’s story: vision, personality and style.

 In her former roles as a designer at Amy Zaroff Events + Design, a master’s student in Design Management at Savannah College of Art and Design, and her current role as a designer for Aurora Farewell Architects, Katie has managed and designed a diverse portfolio of highly detailed, logistically complicated events and interior projects, which has developed her skills and provided an invaluable amount of industry knowledge.

Katie’s innovative perspective and love for problem solving, story-telling and materiality provides continued drive to make each occasion or space perfect for you, and surpass client and guest expectations.
